Accommodation
and daily life

All accommodation is situated on campus, which is not only convenient; it’s also the best way to make new friends. By offering all accommodation and facilities within the campus we are able to provide effective and safe supervision of all young students throughout their stay.

Girls and boys live in separate campus locations and a course co-ordinator or “house parent” will live in situ at all times, ensuring a welcoming, safe and homely environment.

The boys reside at The Cedar School, Coombe Rd, Lloyd Park, Croydon CR0 5RD

The girls reside at Oliver House, 7 Nightingale Ln, London SW4 9AH

We offer triple, four-bed rooms and dormitories (with a max. of 6 beds) all with shared bathroom facilities. Bedrooms have wardrobes and drawer space so that it is not necessary to live out of a suitcase. There are desks for reading and writing.

Bed linen is provided, but towels are not.

After a very busy day of school classes and activities, there are TV/common rooms and games rooms for the evenings. There are also computer rooms for the evening, with WiFi, email and internet facilities and Percival’s has strict guidelines regarding screen time.

We aim at Percival to create an environment of friendship and social activities, there are STRICT RULES regarding all mobile and IT devices. Students will have access to email, once a day.

Both the Cedars and Oliver House have a Roman Catholic chapel.

Nutritious Meals

Students meet for breakfast, lunch and supper in the refectory.

Students are provided with a wide selection of 3 appetising, healthy and varied meals freshly prepared every day by our catering team in the on-site refectories.

Breakfast menu offers a choice of different types of food. There is a cold buffet with fruit, yoghurt, cereal, cold meats and cheese whilst the hot buffet has a cooked selection like sausages, eggs, bacon, beans or mushrooms. Juice, coffee, tea, croissants and toast are also available. A big breakfast is a great start to the day!

Hot lunches are provided daily before excursions and students return to campus for a light supper. Special diets can be requested. Students are also provided with 2 refreshment breaks when on campus.

Lunch includes a selection of cooked meals like pizza, curry, roast chicken, or a vegetarian option. There is always a choice of fruit, vegetables, soup, salad and fresh bread. Desserts are always popular, fresh fruit and ice cream, jellies, yoghurts or a traditional cake.

Every year we respond to the suggestions of the students feedback regarding the menus and food. We expect our students to eat responsibly [not to throw food away], healthily [eat a balanced of diet] and politely [eat with good manners].
